Books were too rare for low status people to obtain until printing press was invented. But the arrival of the innovative device allows everyone to obtain a book and read it. Therefore, people's literacy improved,also quality of education rose as a result. At the same time, an irregular newspaper and bills began to be issued. These had an effect on people' s thought, banded them, and probably contributed to Protestant Reformation and French Revolution. It was very Revolution. In 1650, the world's first daily newspaper,  "Einkommende Zeitungen", issued in Germany.

「Reginald Fessenden」の画像検索結果In 1899, Guglielmo Marconi, Italian scientist, established wireless telegraphy system. Afterward Reginald Fessenden, Canadian inventor, succeeded a speech with wireless telegraphy in 1900, furthermore broadcast the first radio of entertainment and music on Christmas Eve, 1906. 
In 1920, KDKA (the first broadcast center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which owned and operated by CBS radio) broadcast publicly.
The radio broadcast became large source to public people.

The invention which many scientists such as Guglielmo Marconi and Reginald Fessenden participated, can be considered first step of present media.
